Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a highly detailed engraving commemorating the driving of the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, Utah, on 10 May 1869, completing the First Transcontinental Railroad. The central field depicts a large crowd of workers, officials, and spectators gathered between two facing steam locomotives, rendered in fine relief after the celebrated A.J. Russell photograph of the historic ceremony. The arc legend HISTORY OF AMERICA · "GOLDEN SPIKE" CONNECTS EAST AND WEST runs around the upper and lateral rim, with the commemorative date 1869 incorporated into the right side legend. The denomination $20 appears in the lower field.
