Opmerkingen

Pick 69 belongs to the 2007 security upgrade series for Barbados, distinguished from earlier $20 issues primarily by the enlarged, striped numeral — a low-tech but effective counterfeit deterrent that De La Rue had been rolling out across several Caribbean central bank contracts around the same time. The dual signature combination of Williams and Worrell places this note within a narrow window of the series before further signature changes occurred.

De La Rue's involvement with Barbadian currency dates back to well before independence in 1966, giving them an unusually long institutional relationship with the island's monetary authorities.
