Canada's Hundred Days refers to the string of Allied offensives from August 8 to November 11, 1918, in which Canadian Corps forces played an outsized role — cracking the Hindenburg Line at places like Arras, Canal du Nord, and Valenciennes in succession. The Corps, under Arthur Currie, had by that point evolved into arguably the most effective assault formation on the Western Front, a fact the Imperial German Army's own postwar assessments grudgingly acknowledged.
Issued a century after the armistice, this piece is part of the RCM's broader centenary program commemorating the First World War.
