A commemorative double-date marking, 1952 and 2022, separated by four pearls — each pearl symbolizing one of the four distinct royal effigies that appeared on Canadian coinage during Her Majesty's reign — flanks the portrait, honoring the complete span of Elizabeth II's time on the throne. |
