Casino chips and plaques get most of the collector attention, but casino-issued paper scrip occupies a genuinely odd corner of notaphily — these notes functioned as internal currency within a single property, redeemable for play rather than goods or services in any conventional sense. The Atlantic City Hilton operated under that name following Hilton's acquisition of the Boardwalk property; New Jersey gaming regulations required that all such scrip be strictly controlled and non-negotiable outside the casino floor.

Redemption rules and cage procedures meant most examples were returned and destroyed. Survivors typically come from discontinued promotions or staff holdbacks.
