Additional information

Liberia's long-running series of foreign landmark coins, produced throughout the early 2000s primarily for the collector export market, had no domestic circulation purpose whatsoever. The Göltzschtalbrücke — completed in 1851 after nine years of construction — is the largest brick bridge in the world, consuming roughly 26 million bricks and requiring a workforce of over 1,700 at its peak.

The bridge crosses the Göltzsch valley in Saxony at a maximum height of 78 meters across four tiers of arches.
