| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features the mature right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as engraved by Susanna Blunt, depicted with softly waved hair, pearl drop earrings, and a pearl necklace. The portrait is rendered in frosted relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend ELIZABETH II is inscribed along the upper left rim, with D·G·REGINA arcing along the upper right, and CANADA positioned along the lower rim. The engraver's initials SB appear discreetly on the shoulder truncation. |

Issued under the Royal Canadian Mint's ongoing licensed pop-culture collector series, this piece appeared in 2016 — the same year Warner Bros. released the DC Extended Universe's first feature incorporating the character, generating considerable commercial momentum for associated merchandise including numismatic issues. The RCM had by this point well established its pattern of pairing fine silver collector coins with entertainment IP, targeting a demographic that overlapped only partially with traditional numismatists.
Mintage on these licensed issues was typically tightly capped to sustain secondary market premiums — a deliberate production strategy rather than any accident of demand.
