| Beschrijving voorzijde | Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear beneath the truncation. The portrait occupies the lower left of the field, set against a background of concentric circular lines radiating outward. The upper and right portions of the field are filled with an intricate collage of ancient archaeological symbols and glyphs drawn from multiple world cultures. The legend ELIZABETH II • COOK ISLANDS arcs along the upper rim, with IRB ARCHEOLOGY & SYMBOLISM inscribed vertically on the right, and the denomination 20 DOLLARS along the lower rim. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Cook Islands has operated one of the more prolific commemorative programs in the Pacific since the 1970s, largely licensing its monetary authority to external minting houses — in this case almost certainly the Polish Mint (Mennica Polska), which has produced the majority of Cook Islands' large-format gilded silver issues in recent years. The Wheel of Life (Bhavachakra) subject places this squarely within a recurring series of Buddhist cosmological themes that proved commercially successful in European collector markets through the late 2010s.
KM#2748a designates the gilded variant, distinguished from the plain silver 2748.
