| Mô tả mặt sau | The reverse, designed by Canadian artist Dave Melnychuk, depicts a richly detailed Ukrainian Easter egg (pysanka) rendered in traditional folk-art style with applied colour. The dominant central motif is the bezkonechnyk, an unbroken meandering band symbolising eternity, encircling the egg's girth. Eight-pointed roses distributed across the design represent the heart and spiritual awareness, while star motifs evoke the illuminating power of the sun. Flanking bands incorporate plant-derived symbols and seed motifs evoking rejuvenation and rebirth, while undulating wave patterns along the outer edges serve as water symbols of fluidity and continuity. The reverse legend CANADA 20 DOLLARS 2020 is inscribed along the lower periphery. |
