| Beschrijving keerzijde | Selectively gold-plated depiction of a North American bison walking in profile to the right, rendered in high relief against a richly detailed background of stylized maple leaves, the entire central device finished in warm gold tone contrasting with the polished silver border. The animal's powerful musculature and characteristic hump are rendered with naturalistic precision, with the engraver's initials NB incused at lower right of the central device. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper border in the silver field, while 20 DOLLARS curves along the lower border. |

The "Respect" coin is part of the RCM's "Fine Silver Coin for $20" program, a retail initiative that ran through the early 2010s and sold directly to the public at face value — or close to it — making silver collecting accessible without a significant premium. The program was enormously successful commercially, spawning dozens of thematic releases annually and eventually drawing criticism for diluting the collectible market with sheer volume.
The selective gold plating was applied galvanically at the mint, a technique the RCM refined through this period across multiple issues.
