| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse presents a highly detailed, three-dimensional sculptural effigy of Ravana, the ten-headed demon king of Hindu and Buddhist mythology, rendered in full-frontal standing pose. The figure displays ten heads arranged in a pyramidal cluster and twenty arms radiating outward in multiple tiers, each hand intricately modelled. Ravana is adorned with elaborate ornamental jewellery including a multi-strand necklace with floral medallions, armlets, and a richly decorated ceremonial dhoti with layered floral and foliate borders. The entire piece is gold-plated, giving the sculptural relief a warm, lustrous finish consistent with the mythological figure's regal iconography. |
