Part of the RCM's long-running fine silver wildlife series, this issue reflects the mint's aggressive push into the collectibles market during the mid-2010s, when themed bullion programs became a primary revenue driver as raw silver demand softened. The "Imposing Alfa Wolf" [sic] title perpetuates a spelling that the RCM used across several releases in the series despite "alpha" being the accepted scientific and common usage — a minor but persistent editorial quirk in the packaging and documentation.
