| 正面铭文 | ELIZABETH II 20 DOLLARS COOK ISLANDS IRB 2022 |
| 背面描述 | Highly detailed high-relief depiction of Helios, the Greek god of the Sun, portrayed as a powerfully built, bearded male figure seated frontally in his solar chariot and gripping the reins. Two finely rendered horses flank him on either side, shown in three-quarter view with elaborately decorated bridles. Behind Helios, dramatic solar rays radiate outward in geometric form, and a classical Greek temple is visible in the background. An ornate winged figure decorates the chariot's front panel. The inscription HELIOS appears within a rectangular cartouche along the lower rim. |

The Helios series is part of Cook Islands' long-running collaboration with the Czech Mint, which has produced some of the more technically ambitious shaped and antiqued issues of the past decade. Cook Islands has functioned as a convenient issuing authority for European-minted collector pieces since the 1990s, its legal tender framework lending nominal face values to coins that will never see the South Pacific.
Elizabeth II's portrait was removed from all Commonwealth coinage following her death in September 2022, making issues struck in her final regnal year the last of a 70-year run.
