| Obverse description | The obverse bears the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, depicting the monarch in right-facing profile as a mature portrait at approximately 77 years of age, bareheaded and wearing a necklace and drop earrings. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a flat field.
