| Opis rewersu | The rectangular reverse presents a detailed architectural relief replicating the facade of the interior Gothic arches of Cologne Cathedral, with two tall lancet windows rendered in vivid color depicting the Adoration of the Magi stained glass panels, dating to 1846, in full polychrome detail. Above the paired windows, a diamond-shaped quatrefoil tracery window is likewise rendered in color. The lower portion of the field is occupied by an ornate Gothic frieze in high relief. At the bottom, a dark banner cartouche carries the inscriptions 'MASTERPIECES OF CRAFTS' and 'COLOGNE CATHEDRAL' in raised lettering, flanked by a decorative heraldic device at the right. |
