Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed, naturalistic portrait of a bull moose rendered in high relief after artwork by the celebrated Canadian wildlife artist Robert Bateman. The moose is depicted in a three-quarter frontal view, its massive palmate antlers extending dramatically toward the upper rim, filling much of the field. The legend 'CANADA' arcs along the upper border, while the denomination '20 DOLLARS' is inscribed to the lower right in two lines, accompanied by the commemorative date range '1962·2012' below, marking the fiftieth anniversary of Bateman's original work. The artist's facsimile signature appears in the lower right field.
