| Description du revers | Central device depicts a detailed mariner's astrolabe, a navigational instrument of historical significance, rendered in high relief with engraved graduations on its outer ring and crossed alidades at centre. The astrolabe is suspended from a ring at the top. Decorative scrollwork and foliate ornaments flank the central device on both sides. The denomination legend TWENTY DOLLARS arcs around the upper and right portions of the field in large stylised lettering, with the Franklin Mint initials FM appearing at lower right. A small winged Franklin Mint logo appears at the base of the design. |
