Obverse description Fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, facing right and wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, set within a seven-pointed star-shaped gold centre. The surrounding silver ring bears the legend ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 20 DOLLARS along the upper periphery, with the engraver's initials IRB truncated below the portrait.
