Comments

The Central Bank of Belize was established in 1982, replacing the Monetary Authority of Belize that had itself only existed since 1976 — the country's currency infrastructure is genuinely young, and this long-running series reflects an unusually stable issuing run for a small Caribbean nation. Thomas De La Rue held the printing contract throughout, a relationship common among former British territories that retained Commonwealth financial ties well past independence.

P#63 ran across more than two decades with only incremental security updates, which means early and late printings within the series can show meaningful differences in thread specification despite sharing the same Pick number.
