Low vegetation is visible at either side of the base. The denomination legend TWENTY · DOLLARS · is inscribed in two arching segments around the upper periphery, and the date 1967 appears in the exergue, all within a beaded border.

Další informace	This coin predates Bahamian independence by six years, struck while the islands remained a British Crown Colony. The 1967 date is politically charged: that January, Lynden Pindling's Progressive Liberal Party won a narrow general election majority, ending decades of white merchant oligarchy control known locally as the "Bay Street Boys." The transitional government commissioned this gold issue as part of a proof set celebrating the new political order, not as a circulating piece. Mintage was extremely limited. Most examples remain in original proof sets rather than in individual holders.
