| 正面描述 | The full coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia occupies the central field, depicting a sailing ship on the sea, a palm tree, a rising sun, a dove in flight, and a plough and spade in the foreground, all within a shield surmounted by a scroll bearing the national motto. The date 2003 is divided by the shield, with '20' to the left and '03' to the right. A ribbon scroll below the shield carries the secondary legend 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA', while the primary circular legend 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' runs along the upper outer rim. A denticulated border frames the entire design. |

The "Spanisch Brötlibahn" — Swiss dialect for the first Swiss railway, opened in 1847 between Zurich and Baden — earned its nickname because Zurich bakers used the line to deliver fresh rolls to Baden each morning before locals could bake their own. Liberia's late-1990s and early-2000s transport commemorative program produced dozens of such issues, largely marketed through European coin dealers to collectors with no connection to Liberia whatsoever. The Limmat was one of the reproduction locomotives operated on that original line.
