| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse presents a gold-plated effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief against a polished silver field. The portrait depicts the King in a plain collar, with fine engraving capturing naturalistic facial detail; the engraver's initials SR appear below the truncation. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the left rim and D·G·REX along the right, both incuse in the silver border surrounding the gold-plated central portrait. The denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower arc of the coin. A broad gold-plated border ring frames the entire design, creating a striking two-tone contrast between the silver field and gilt elements. |

The Grey Wolf series is part of the RCM's broader "Wildlife in Motion" program, which has leaned heavily on ultra-high relief and selective colorization to compete in a crowded bullion-adjacent collector market. This particular issue uses .9999 fine silver — a purity step above the standard .999 seen on most sovereign bullion — which the RCM has favored for its numismatic collector line since the mid-2000s as a deliberate point of differentiation from the Maple Leaf bullion program.
