| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the right portion of the field, with the engraver's initials DT visible below the truncation. The central field features a large gold-plated insert styled as a traditional Chinese cash coin, its square central perforation framed by four symmetrically arranged dragons amid stylized clouds, all rendered in high relief against a gilt background. The surrounding silver field is decorated with a geometric maze-like pattern evoking Chinese architectural motifs.
