Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, depicted in civilian dress with suit and tie, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The legend CHARLES III is inscribed along the left field, while D·G·REX appears along the right field. The denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower portion of the coin. The portrait, attributed to sculptor Steven Rosati, presents the King at approximately age 74 with naturalistic facial features and cropped hair.
