Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in brown ink and centers on a large intaglio vignette of the Hawaiian Royal Coat of Arms, flanked by elaborate symmetrical guilloche rosettes. Denomination numerals '20' appear in bold within the rosettes at left and right. The legend 'HAWAIIAN TREASURY' arcs across the top in large serif capitals, and 'CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT' runs along the lower border, with the printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY, NEW YORK' at the bottom margin.
