| 背面描述 | Printed in blue intaglio throughout, the reverse is dominated by a central circular bank seal bearing a sailing vessel and the inscription "CANADIAN BANK OF COMMERCE EST. 1867", surmounted by a crowned coat of arms. Mercury, shown at left holding a caduceus, and a female allegorical figure of Plenty at right, each carrying a sheaf of wheat, jointly support the seal as flanking supporters. Large ornate "20" numerals occupy the left and right fields, and a rectangular cartouche at the bottom centre bears the word "TWENTY". The border is composed of intricate lathe-work and foliate guilloche ornament. |
