At left, a dark brown circular lathe-work vignette contains the denomination "TWENTY DOLLARS" in intaglio lettering; at right, the supported Royal Arms of the United Kingdom is rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The promise-to-pay text is set centrally above a large latent denomination panel, with the date and serial number printed in red at lower left and upper right respectively, and the payable location "PORT OF SPAIN TRINIDAD" at lower right. |

The bank name arches across the top in bold letterpress, with the charter references inscribed below the arms vignette. The printer's imprint appears at the foot of the note. |
