备注

The P#65A is part of the series introduced to coincide with the millennium, a deliberate reissuing decision by the Central Bank rather than a response to any monetary pressure. Thomas De La Rue's production for the Bahamas had been a long-running relationship by this point, and the millennium series carried upgraded security — the hologram strip in particular represented a meaningful step up from the thread-only protection of earlier issues in the same family.

The 20-dollar denomination has historically been the workhorse of Bahamian tourist commerce, given the near-parity relationship between the Bahamian dollar and the US dollar fixed since 1966.
