The central and right portions are occupied by a large vignette of a Kacau ni Gau (Fiji petrel) in flight set against a seascape underprint, with a smaller Toa (rooster) vignette in blue at lower left. The Governor's facsimile signature above the inscription 'GOVERNOR / RESERVE BANK OF FIJI' appears at lower centre, with a blue RBI windowed security thread bearing the numeral '20' integrated into the substrate.
