备注

The Weyburn Security Bank was chartered in 1910 and operated out of Weyburn, Saskatchewan — one of the last chartered banks to emerge before Canada's banking consolidation effectively ended independent regional banking. It failed in 1931 during the agricultural collapse that hit the prairies particularly hard, absorbed into the broader wreckage of Depression-era Saskatchewan farming communities.

The American Bank Note Company's Ottawa branch handled a significant share of Canadian chartered bank note production in this period. Notes from short-lived prairie institutions like Weyburn turn up rarely in any grade; the bank's limited branch network meant small print runs, and the 1931 failure left little incentive for preservation.
