| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed entirely in brown and displays a large central vignette of a bull elk's head within a circular frame, surrounded by an elaborately engraved lathe-work border of repeating geometric and floral motifs. Octagonal panels at left and right each bear the numeral 20, and the bank's title BANK OF HAMILTON curves around the central medallion in a bold arc. The overall composition is densely patterned with fine-line guilloche work characteristic of late nineteenth-century security printing. |
