The inner marginal legend carries a portion of Quranic verse from Surah At-Tawbah (9:33): 'محمد رسول الله ارسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله'. The Hijri date '١٤٣٢' appears in the lower central field. The overall design closely evokes the aesthetic of classical Abbasid-era silver coinage. |
