| Reverse description | The reverse is designed in the style of early Islamic Umayyad dirhams, featuring multiple concentric bands of Arabic Kufic-style script without diacritical dots. The central field contains the Shahada in three lines: 'لا اله الا / الله وحده / لا شريك له' (There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner). The inner marginal legend carries a portion of Quranic verse from Surah At-Tawbah (9:33): 'محمد رسول الله ارسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله'. The Hijri date '١٤٣٢' appears in the lower central field. The overall design closely evokes the aesthetic of classical Abbasid-era silver coinage. |
