| Obverse description | Central design features a detailed depiction of the Zitouna Mosque minaret in Tunis, rendered in high relief within the field. Flanking the base of the minaret are the dates 1957 and 1967, denoting the tenth anniversary of the Republic. A bilingual legend arcs around the upper periphery, reading in French '10e ANNIVER. DE LA REPUBLIQUE' and in Arabic script along the outer border. The denomination '20 DINARS' is inscribed across the lower field in Latin characters, accompanied by the Arabic equivalent 'عشرون دينارا' to either side. |
