背面描述 The reverse centres on an intaglio vignette of the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Centre in Juffair, its prominent dome and twin minarets rendered in fine detail against a multicoloured guilloche ground. An elaborate rosette occupies the upper centre, flanked by ornamental borderwork incorporating repeated denomination numerals. The issuer name in English appears at top centre above the architectural vignette.

备注

Bahrain has issued 20 Dinar notes only sparingly — the denomination sits at the top of everyday transactional use in a country where the dinar has been pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate of 0.376 since 1980, one of the longest-held fixed pegs among Gulf states. That rate makes the 20 Dinar note worth roughly $53 at face — meaningful in a circulation context, which kept high-denomination notes in active use rather than stored.

Thomas De La Rue's involvement with Bahraini currency dates to the earliest issues of the Bahrain Currency Board in the 1960s, giving the P#29 series a printer continuity that spans the island's entire modern monetary history.
