A circular legend reading PETAR II KRALJ JUGOSLAVIJE runs along the periphery, separated from the bust by a narrow border. The date 1938 is divided by the eagle's body, with the numerals 19 and 38 flanking it on either side. The denomination 20 DINARA is inscribed in the lower exergual area beneath the eagle.
