This note presents one of the stranger documentary puzzles in Yugoslav occupation-period paper money. Printed by the Serbian National Bank in 1942 but dated on the print run to 30 April 1945 — the very day Germany surrendered in Italy and hours before the fall of Berlin — it was never placed into circulation. The Partisan takeover rendered the entire Serbian collaborationist banking apparatus obsolete almost immediately, and stocks of unissued notes were seized or destroyed.
The April 1945 print date almost certainly reflects a final administrative overrun, not an intentional late issue.
