Popis líce	The obverse displays the national coat of arms of the Republic of The Gambia in high relief at center, featuring a quartered shield flanked by two rampant lions as supporters, surmounted by a feathered crest. A ribbon beneath the shield bears the national motto in three parts: PROGRESS, PEACE, and PROSPERITY. The legend REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin lettering, while the date 1995 is inscribed in large numerals along the lower field.
