| Aversbeschreibung | The national coat of arms of the Republic of The Gambia is displayed prominently at the centre of the field, featuring a shield supported by two lions rampant and surmounted by an axe and hoe. The curved legend REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script. A ribbon below the shield bears the national motto PROGRESS PEACE PROSPERITY. The date *2025* and the denomination 20 DALASIS appear in the lower field, each flanked by a star-shaped ornament. |

| Zusätzliche Informationen |
The Gambia has issued commemorative coinage sporadically since the 1970s, almost entirely for the collector export market rather than domestic circulation — the country's actual currency infrastructure runs on paper dalasi notes and base-metal coins of far smaller denominations. A 20 Dalasi silver piece has no practical monetary role whatsoever in Banjul.
The 65mm diameter places this among the larger bullion-adjacent formats increasingly favored by small-nation minting programs contracted through European private mints, particularly in Czech Republic and Poland, where the actual production almost certainly occurred.
