The eagle's breast bears the quartered Habsburg arms on an ornate shield. The wings are spread wide with detailed feather work, and the talons clutch a sword and orb. The denomination XX CORONÆ appears in the upper field flanking the crowns, with the Roman numeral date (varying by year) to the right, and the Arabic numeral denomination 20 COR. divided across the lower field. The year of issue in Arabic numerals appears in the exergue below the eagle's tail feathers. A beaded border frames the entire composition. |
