Reverse description A symmetrical wreath of maple leaves tied at the base with a ribbon bow frames the central denomination inscription 20 CENTS and the date 1871. A St. Edward's Crown surmounts the wreath at the top of the design. The flan displays rich iridescent toning consistent with a specimen strike, and the entire design is surrounded by a uniform beaded border.
