| Obverse description | Central field features a stylised depiction of the Bauhinia blakeana flower in high relief, its sweeping petals rendered with fine detail against a flat field. Chinese characters 香港 appear in the upper field flanking the flower, while the Latin legend HONG KONG curves along the lower periphery within the twelve-notch scalloped border.
