| 备注 |
The Société Française des Charbonnages du Tonkin was the principal coal-mining conglomerate operating the Hòn Gai coalfields in northern Vietnam — among the most productive in colonial Southeast Asia. Company-issued scrip of this kind functioned as internal currency, paid to Vietnamese miners and redeemable only at company stores, a system that effectively trapped labor within the enterprise's economic orbit. French colonial authorities tolerated such arrangements well into the twentieth century.
Yellow paper was a deliberate production choice for low-denomination scrip, allowing rapid visual sorting at the pay window.
