| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a flowering plant spray — identified as a sugarcane or agricultural plant — occupying the central and lower field, symbolising Swaziland's agricultural heritage and the FAO's Food First initiative. In the upper left, the circular FAO emblem inscribed 'WORLD FOOD DAY 16 OCT' appears in relief. The denomination '20' is prominently displayed at the top centre, flanked by the legend 'FOOD FIRST' to the left and 'LIJAHA SISU' to the right in curved Latin lettering. The date '1981' runs along the lower right rim, and the word 'CENTS' appears along the base. |

Issued as part of the FAO's ongoing push through the 1970s and 1980s to co-opt national mints into publicizing agricultural development programs, this piece was struck during a period when Sobhuza II held the record as the world's longest-reigning monarch — he had ruled since 1921 and would die the following year, in 1982, at approximately 83 years of age. Swaziland's participation in the FAO coinage program was modest; the kingdom produced only a handful of denominations across the campaign's run.
