The numeral 20 appears both above and below the handshake, flanking the central device in the upper and lower fields respectively. The legend TWENTY CENT PIECE arcs around the periphery, distributed along the left and right sides of the coin in large Roman capitals. The date 1791 is inscribed in the lower exergue beneath the second numeral 20. A beaded border frames the entire composition. |
