| Additional information |
The 1995 Australian 20-cent commemorative marked the United Nations' fiftieth anniversary, one of dozens of national issues released worldwide that year under broadly coordinated commemorative programs. Australia's participation was straightforward — the Royal Australian Mint had been producing circulating commemoratives with increasing frequency through the 1990s, and the UN jubilee fit neatly into that production calendar. Mintage was sufficient for general circulation release, keeping collector premiums modest to this day.
