Reverse description A platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) depicted swimming dynamically through stylised flowing water rendered as bold, sweeping parallel curves that fill the field. The animal is shown in naturalistic detail with its distinctive duck-bill and webbed forefeet visible, oriented diagonally across the lower and left portions of the design.
