Reverse description The reverse follows the standard European 20 euro cent design format, featuring the large numeral 20 prominently in the left and centre of the field, overlaid on a globe motif with radiating lines suggesting the map of Europe. To the right stands a finely detailed equestrian figure of a crowned medieval monarch in full relief. Twelve five-pointed stars, symbolic of the European Union, arc around the upper periphery of the coin. The word SPECIMEN appears within an oval cartouche overlaid on the lower portion of the numeral, marking this piece as a presentation specimen.
