| Obverse description | Plain typeset design with no pictorial vignette, printed in dark ink on tan paper. The issuer name VILLE DE STAVELOT and date 5 Octobre 1915 appear across the upper portion, with the denomination BON DE CAISSE DE VINGT CENTIMES in large bold letterpress type occupying the centre. The denomination numeral 0,20 is repeated at upper left and lower right, a handwritten serial number appears at lower left, and double ruled lines with corner ornaments frame a notice directing the holder to the reverse for authentication characters; the printer's imprint of Imp. Jos. Lamberty, Stavelot runs along the bottom margin. |
