| Obverse description | The municipal coat of arms of Blois occupies the central field, depicting a shield charged with a fleur-de-lis and supported by two rampant lions, the whole surmounted by a mural crown. The legend VILLE DE BLOIS arcs across the upper periphery, while CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE curves along the lower periphery, separated from the central device by two six-pointed star stops. The heraldic composition is rendered in bold relief consistent with the engraving style of early twentieth-century French emergency coinage. |
